2.) I'm looking forward to another LAND OF THE LOST marathon this weekend on the Sci-Fi Channel. It makes me nostalic, but it also makes me dread the movie 'cause I just know Will Ferrel will screw it up!
3.) I hit 40,000 words on a young adult novel I'm working on. I have dreams of writing a young adult book series, so this is the first. It's very exciting and I'm loving the characters I've developed - I just hope to see it published some day.
4.) I have plans to meet with my good friend, Tammy, on Saturday so we can work on our writing. She's currently finishing up a short story she is submitting to a magazine - she dropped it in the mail today, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
5.) My oldest daughter has finally decided on the baby pictures she wants to have displayed at the wedding. I have plans to scan them into the computer tomorrow night will my hubby is working at the drive-in - hopefully I'll have them burned onto a disc before the weekend is over.
6.) This weekend at the Twin Hills Drive-In: NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE FOR THE SMITHSONIAN and STAR TREK. I may have to go up to the drive-in and see STAR TREK again - excellent movie.
7.) I started a new book last night, THE BOOK OF THE DEAD by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. They have collaborated on several books, but I haven't read any of them, so this is my first. So far, so good.
8.) I have several more tomato and pepper transplants to get in the garden this week. The first planting is looking great. I'm going to have plenty of tomatoes, peppers and onions for making salsa later in the season.
9.) I'm hoping to get more strawberries at the Farmer's Market tomorrow. I made 7 jars of strawberry jam last weekend and I'd like to make more this weekend. I have blackberries going on in the garden, but they won't be ready for a few more weeks.
10.) This afternoon, I'll finish watching the funeral of Stuart Chandler. As I watched the being yesterday, I'm ashamed to admit, I freely had tears flowing - for a fictional character!! What the hell is wrong with me? Not watching is not an option - I have to have my daily dose of Pine Valley - makes me feel better about my life.
And I'm going to leave you this Friday with a quote I read this week:
"... life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away." --Author Unknown

Congrats to your daughter and to you as well! For her to be so accomplished, you must be doing something right!
I will have to tell hubby about the Land of the Lost marathon. He doesn't want to see the movie, but boy, does he love that show!
Congrats on hitting the milestone for your book! I hope to read it in the future!

Bobbi,
How on earth do you find time to do all these wonderful things?! If I could do just one (like make jam) and write, I'd be a happy girl! Looking forward to reading your book(s) in future:)
