Although I don't agree with her opinion on gay marriage or gay rights, I think the media has been too harsh on Miss California, Carrie Prejean. That's the beauty (no pun intended) of this country, we are allowed to have our own opinions.If Perez Hilton didn't want to hear an opposing opinion on gay rights, he shouldn't have asked the question. I don't agree with her answer, but I respect her right to say it.
I actually feel sorry for the new Miss USA - she is being overshadowed by all this hub-bub.
