Fireside Coffee

I finished up my Fireside Coffee Mix this weekend - it goes in my gift bags every year to family and friends. I really don't have a cut and dry recipe, but I use the "1 cup-of" ratio:

Fireside Coffee

--1 cup of instant coffee
--1 cup of hot chocolate mix
--1 cup coffee creamer
--1 cup of sugar

Mix well and add to decorative jars. Add a gift tag that says:
"Add 1 - 2 heaping teaspoons full to a mug of boiling water. Enjoy!"

Sugar Scrub

This weekend, I mixed up a batch of homemade Sugar Scrub. I'll use this in the gift baskets I give to family and friends. Fill jars with the sugar scrub, print a label from the computer and tie with a pretty ribbon. My oldest two daughters and I love using the sugar scrub in the shower

Ingredients
1 cup granulated white sugar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon vitamin E oil (optional - used as a preservative)
1 teaspoon cocoa butter
6 drops lavendar essential oil (or any fragrance you like)

Instructions
Mix all ingredients until well blended. Place into a clean glass jar with a tight lid and add a fancy label. I highly recommend the 1/2 pint wide mouth canning jars and wide mouth plastic storage lids.
