Krevlornswath Has Gone To Demon Heaven

Andy Hallett - who starred as Lorne ("the Host") on the TV series Angel - died of heart failure last night at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after a five-year battle with heart disease - he was only 33.

Andy's character on Angel was Krevlornswath of the Deathwok Clan, or Lorne for short. Lorne was a friendly demon, who, when not assisting Angel and his team in the investigation of various and sundry underworld mysteries, served as the host and headliner at a demon bar.

He appeared on more than 70 episodes of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff, Angel, between 2000 and 2004. This is the second cast member of Angel we have lost - Glenn Quinn, who played Doyle in season one, passed away in 2002.

6.) House of Dark Shadows - 1970, directed by Dan Curtis and based on the television series, Dark Shadows.













7.) The Lost Boys - 1987, starring Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Haim and Corey Feldman.














8.) Blade - 1998, starring Wesley Snipes.













9.) Underworld - 2003, starring Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman and Michael Sheen.














10.) Salem's Lot - 2004 TV adaptation of Stephen King's novel by the same name; starring Rob Lowe, Rutger Hauer, James Cromwell and Donald Sutherland.

Thursday Thirteen #2 - David Boreanaz

For the 2nd edition of my Thursday Thirteen, I've decided to give you 13 reasons to love David Boreanaz - the tall glass of water from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Bones. Hubba hubba!

1.) I first fell in love with David when he played Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

2.)Even with a smirk on his face, he makes me melt!

3.) Be still my beating heart!

4.) Please don't tell my hubby about this one - it'll be our little secret!

5.) After two different series in which he played a vampire, David is now a regular guy as Seeley Booth on Bones.

6.) Look at those pearly whites!

7.) I never could resist a man in blue jeans ...

8.) When not acting, David lends his talent and celebrity to help out PETA.
