The Morning After LOST

The Little Prince Season 5, Episode 4 (total episode #89)

Kate discovers that someone knows the secret of Aaron's true parental lineage. Meanwhile, the dramatic shifts through time are placing the lives of the remaining island survivors in extreme peril.

Totally awesome episode this week! There are still lots of questions, but we also got a few answers.

On the Mainland: We finally get to see the moment Kate decides to claim Aaron as her own. This was a simplistic answer, but it worked to tie up this loose end. I was happy to see Kate and Jack together again. Sayid and Ben got some camera time, but I'm still waiting to find out why Sayid no longer trusts Ben. You would think after working as Ben's assassin, Sayid would be over his "trust" issues. Again, my favorite character, Hurley, only had a brief cameo from jail, but as usual, he was hilarious!! I'm still up in the air to what Sun is up to - does she want to kill Whidmore or Ben or Kate? I think it's Kate because Kate promised to get Jin on the helicopter, but failed to keep her promise. I guess time will tell.

On the Island: We know one thing, Claire is still very much a part of the storyline. Not only do we have appearances of her mother on the Mainland, but the first time travel of this episode too the Islanders back to the night Aaron was born. Just the look on Sawyer's face was heartbreaking! I kep waiting for him to go over to Kate, but he never did. Then flashing forward to find the camp is still on the beach, but everyone is gone - even the zodiac (boat). Who left the canoes on the shore? And then who were the people shooting at our castaways? I thought it was funny when Sawyer thanked God for the next time travel, only to have the castaways stuck on the ocean in the middle of a storm!

Of course, the last scene of this episode revealed so much - Rousseau's team landing on the Island and then catching a glimpse of a very much alive Jin.

Holy mackrel of the night: Realizing Jin is alive!

Best flash back: Sawyer getting to see the birth of Aaron.

Heart wrenching moment: Watching Daniel try to revive Charolette after her seizure and collapse.

The ah-ha moment: Meeting Danielle Rousseau while she is pregnant with Alex.

What the hell moment: When does Ben have his lawyer trying to get DNA from Kate and Aaron? Is it to blackmail her into returning to the Island?

Hubba-hubba moment: Watching the looks between Sawyer and Juliet. Juliet is not my favorite character and I certainly don't want her to get together with Sawyer, but there is no denying the chemistry between the two.

I loved Hurley's line - don't worry, I'm perfectly fine, I'm in LA County Lockup!

Juliet doesn't but me so much, but you're right, there is some definite chemistry going on w/ her and Sawyer.
