I'm going to have to check some of those out. The Lost Boys was my all-time favorite movie growing up. In fact, one of my friends' fathers had a little taxidermy shop in the basement, next to her bedroom, so we'd watch the movie and run past the taxidermy shop to get to the bathroom because we were so scared! Didn't the grandfather in the movie have taxidermy animals? Funny list!
As a vampire fan and a film buff, may I say you have excellent taste? I've seen and enjoyed nearly everything on your list. Even the original 'Dark Shadows' on TV when I was a kid. The only ones I haven't seen are the recent TV series ('Angel and 'Buffy') and the Stephen King adaptation.
The closest portrayal of the Dracula in my head is Gerard Butler from 'Dracula 2000' - in the flashbacks, that is it for me, baby.
Fabulous list. Did you know they're making a sequal to The Lost Boys?
I love Dusk till Dawn & Bram Stockers Dracula.
Some of my favourites are: 'Dracula's Daughter' (with Gloria Holden), 'Nosferatu', 'The Hunger', 'Vampires: Los Muertos', and my current favourite '30 Days of Night' which I think is wonderful!
Lugosi's best portrayal of Dracula actually occurred in his last: Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein.
